[Book Review] How The Cookie Crumbles By Jaime Samms & Scribblers Coffee Co. Danish Pastry Flavored Coffee

Set in the small coastal town of Bluewater Bay where a popular tv show (Wolf’s Landing) is filmed, How The Cookie Crumbles follows two men, Frederic and Blaire, getting a second chance at love after Blaire, as Frederic's best friend Alicia puts it, "got all fickle on you and passed you over for a shinier toy" (Alicia is sassy as all heck and we love her).

    Monday Morning Coffee News

Happy Monday! Some interesting coffee-related news from last week (also, Hey Guys! Haven't seen you for awhile! :D ): A recently presented study looked further into the possible link between coffee consumption and a lowered risk of developing endometrial cancer, Keurig promised to start rolling out recyclable K-cups by the end of this year, and Starbucks had a busy week bringing back the S’mores Frappuccino, opening it’s first store in South Africa, and even launching their own line of emojis.

[Book Review] Minotaur By J.A. Rock & Peet’s Coffee Warrior Grounds

Minotaur is 60% coming-of-age story and 40% monster hunt adventure. Set in the 1930’s, the book opens with 16 year old Thera Ballard coming to live at Rock Point Girls’ Home, an all-girls orphanage, after the last of her family washes their hands of the troublesome teen. Mad at the world and determined to hate everyone and everything, Thera feels a strong kinship with the Minotaur, a vicious sorceress with her own anger problems who once went on bloody rampage through a nearby town until she was imprisoned in the labyrinth.

    Espresso Chocolate Chip Brownie Cookies

Hey guys! So, a few weeks ago, I bought cake flour instead of all-purpose flour for the first time and decided I wanted to experiment with it a bit. I've been wanted to make some espresso chocolate chocolate chip cookies for awhile now, so that's what I set out to do, except I substituted in cake flour instead of all-purpose flour. I noticed adding cake flour to the recipe gave the cookies a soft, dense, brownie-like texture to them, so that's what I'm calling them: Espresso Chocolate Chip Brownie Cookies. These cookies have a deep cocoa flavor to them reminiscent of dark chocolate and a subtle coffee taste that really enhances the…

[Book Review] Winter Wonderland By Heidi Cullinan & CoffeeAM Kozy Fire Flavored Coffee

Paul Jansen is a romantic. He loves cozy Christmas romances and wants more than anything in the world to be loved by someone who will hold him close and never let him go – and when you meet his homophobic, controlling, judgmental family it’s easy to see why he needs someone like that in his life. Having watched the past two years as both of his best friends got their "Mr. Right" for Christmas, he hardly dares to hope that this year might be his turn.
